Dr. Navid Baradarian
Dr. Baradarian grew up on Long Island. He attended the State University of New York in Albany, and was a dean’s list student with a double major in human anthropology and biology. Dr. Baradarian earned his dental degree in 2002 from the University of Buffalo. Rather than go into practice after graduation, Dr. Baradarian elected to continue his academic training at New York University College of Dentistry, in conjunction with Bellevue Hospital in a one-year residency in general dentistry. Completing that in 2003, he practiced cosmetic and family dentistry for one year and in 2004, enrolled in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to study Periodontology. Dr. Baradarian obtained his certificate in Periodontics in 2007.
Dr. Baradarian values clinical experience. For this reason, he purchased a small periodontal practice in Brooklyn, honing his skills and learning business principles not taught in dental school or in his residencies. His practice philosophy is to treat patients in a caring manner with a focus on cosmetic outcomes; for the comfort of his patients, he is trained and licensed in enteral conscious sedation.
When he is not applying his knowledge to treating periodontal problems or inserting implants, Dr. Baradarian enjoys playing golf (he’s an avid player) and relishes a good game of basketball. When time permits, he loves to travel.
